Tree House International School hosts graduation awards ceremony
The Tree House International School host- ed an awards ceremony to mark the successful com- pletion of its Behaviour Therapy Training Programme. The event was held at The Kingsbury Hotel recently under the patronage of the Founder and Direct or of the School, Dr. Anton James.
The Tree House International, Sri Lanka’s only international school dedicated exclusively to students with special needs, celebrated the graduation of its 2025 cohort of behaviour ther- apy students from the theory programme. This milestone re presents a significant expansion of regulated behaviour therapy in Sri Lanka, delivered in collaboration with the International Behaviour Analysis Organisation.
Beheviour therapy, basedon Applied Behaviour Analysis, is widely recognised as one of the most effective evidence - based interventions for autism. Language Therapist and Audiologist, Dr. Ajay Jeyaseelan - International Certified Trainer, Dr Azyan Shafeek, Lifestyle Physician, Pediatrician, Health and Wellness Coach, Ms. Ranushi Peiris, Licensed Clinical Psychologistand Ms. Lasanthika Madushani, Licensed Clinical Psycholo gist were also present. As part of the awards cere mony, guestsal so took part in a cake-cut- ting and the event was attended by professionals, families, and students.
