Lyceum Students Experience Chinese Cultural Heritage Through Special Embassy Invitation
Lyceum International School was honoured to be the only school invited by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to attend the ‘Happy Chinese New Year’ performance held at the Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa Theatre.
Senior students from Lyceum Nugegoda represented the school at this prestigious cultural event, gaining first-hand exposure to Chinese traditions, artistic expression, and international cultural heritage. The performance provided students with a meaningful opportunity to appreciate cultural diversity and experience global learning beyond the classroom.
The event highlighted the importance of experiential education, allowing students to engage with the performing arts while strengthening their understanding of cross-cultural exchange and global citizenship.
