Australasian Academy cele- brates eight years of vibrant jour- ney, eight years of turning ambi- tious dreams into reality, and eight years of creating a lasting impact on our nation’s higher educational landscape. When Australasian Academy was founded in 2018 it was built on a foundation of innovation and commitment to nurturing future ready leaders in their respective fields of study. Today as we stand on the threshold of a new chapter, we look back with pride at how far we have come. In less than a decade, we have evolved from a promising new entity into a centre of academ- ic excellence and holistic growth. Eight years is a milestone that marks our durability and resilience, symbolised by the enduring strength to withstand and recover natural disasters, pandemics, and economic crisis.

This journey has been defined by our collective achievements, our unwavering dedication for academic rigor and supported by our partner institutions, pioneering spirits of our students and nurturing environ- ment provided by our academic and non-academic staff. Together we have empowered thousands of young minds, forged valuable industrial partnerships, and established a reputation for excellence that transcends our campus boundaries. The journey began as a special- ised Hospitality Management School offering Australian Qualifications in Hospitality Management in partnership with one of the leading Hospitality Schools in Sydney, Australia. From a humble beginning of just over a dozen students in our first intake, we have grown over the years to offer Hospitality Management, Culinary Ar t, Allied Health Services, and Information Technology programmes in partnership with Australian National Institute of Business and Technology (ANIBT) a n d Holmesglen Institute Melbourne, Australia. “For an institution born in Sri Lanka in 2018, those eight years car ry par ticular weight.

We launched into the headwinds of the Easter attacks, navigated a global pandemic that shut classrooms across the country, and weathered the most severe economic crisis in our nation’s modern history. That we are not only standing today, but growing with more students, broad- er programmes, and stronger insti- tutional partnerships than ever before is testament to the resilience and faith of every person who has walked this jour ney with us “Stated Kalum De Silva, Managing Director, Australasian Academy. Mr. De Silva further commented on the challenging journey and the future ahead “What began as a vision to create a centre of learning has, through the dedication of our staff and the trust of our students and their families, grown into a vibrant hub of training, opportunity, and pathways to meaningful careers both in Sri Lanka and abroad. Over these eight years we have nurtured more than a thousand students, building not only academic and vocational skills, but the values that de fine the Australasian way: integrity, com- passion, courage, and a deep com- mitment to service. Australasian Academy provides not just a qualification but help build a work ready graduate in their chosen career path with theo- retical and practical knowledge and paid internships in world renowned international and local brands which provides graduates to apply their learned knowledge into practice right after graduation.
