
Lyceum Assessments has announced that registrations are now open for the Speech & Drama and Public Speaking Examinations under the Festival of Arts 2026, an internationally benchmarked programme designed to nurture creativity, confidence, and com- munication excellence among students.
These examinations provide a struc- tured platform for learners from Pre- Grade to Grade 12 to develop essential performance and presentation skills through a comprehensive and progres- sive assessment framework. The examination places strong emphasis on key developmental areas including voice modulation, expres- sive speaking, stage presence, and dramatic interpretation, enabling stu- dents to refine their communication and performance abilities. All examinations are conducted in line with international assessment standards and are evaluated by qualified and experienced adjudicators, ensuring fairness, consistency, and academic integrity.
The examinations will be held across multiple centres island-wide, including Nugegoda, Wattala, Panadura, Kurunegala, Anuradhapura, Kandy, Kandana, Gampaha, Ratnapura, Avissawella, Nuwara Eliya, Galle, and Jaffna. Schools, institutes, and individual candidates are invited to register and participate in these enriching exami- nations.
