GCE A/L from Nov 10 to Dec 5
The Ministry of Higher Education issued a circular announcing that it has decided to hold the GCE Advanced Level examination 2025, from November 10 to December 5, and accordingly amended the duration of the third term. Therefore both Sinhala and Tamil schools will start the first phase of the third term from Monday, August 18, and will end on Friday, November 7.
Holidays would be from November 8 to December 7. The second phase of the third term for Sinhala and Tamil schools will be from December 8 up to December 19. Meanwhile, for Muslim schools, the first phase of the third term will be from Monday, August 25 to Friday, November 7. School holidays will be from November 8 to 23. The second phase of the third term for Muslim schools will be from Monday, November 24 till Friday, December 19. (KW)
