Lyceum Launches Centre for School Excellence to Elevate Academic Standards Across All Lyceum Schools
Lyceum Assessments is proud to announce the official launch of the Centre for School Excellence—a pioneering initiative introduced for the first time in Sri Lanka, aimed at driving academic quality across the entire Lyceum network.
This newly established department is dedicated to fostering continuous academic improvement through a strategic focus on quality assurance, data-driven decision-making, and educator empowerment. It will play a pivotal role in strengthening teaching standards, ensuring curriculum alignment, and advancing professional development for educators.

With its commitment to consistency, innovation, and accountability, the Centre for School Excellence marks a transfor mative milestone in Lyceum’s educational journey.
The official launch event was graced by distinguished guests, including Professor Colin N. Peiris, Founder Dr. Mohan Lal Grero, Consulting Coordinating Principal Dr. Mrs. Kumari Grero, Director General Mr. Nilanka Imbuldeniya, Coordinating Principal Madam Kumari Wijerathne, and Head of Curriculum Development Ms. Hishana Martinesz.
