July 4th with NCHS USA programme students celebrate at Hikka Tranz
The Fourth of July—also known as Independence Day or July 4th—has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1941, but the tradition of Independence Day celebrations goes back to the 18th century. For us at NCHS (Nawaloka College of Higher Studies), it was essential that all our students who are preparing to move to America also celebrate this historical celebration. The staff and students of NCHS enjoyed a fun filled day at Hikka Tranz, where they spent time celebrating freedom, while enjoying a dip in the pool, games on the beach and a scrumptious buffet.
It was a day of joy and celebration for all! The event was a precedent to the students lives once they transfer to America, where they will be able to live up to the slogan, ‘Land of unlimited possibilities’. One College, many Universities! On completion of their time at NCHS, students will be able to select from a host of renowned universities in America.
