OKI celebrates 25th anniversary with gift of house and IT lab
A house handover ceremony to the most senior employee, P T Yogarajah of OKI International School Network was held recently, fulfilling the expectations of its late founder chairman Nimal Saparamadu. The key of this house was handed over to the family of Mr Yogarajah by OKI International School Network Chairperson Nirmalie Saparumadu, and Directress Denum Abeysekera, as part of a CSR project to mark the 25th anniversary of OKI International School, Wattala. Also as part of the project, and to uplift children’s education a less privileged junior secondary school at Kandawala, a fullyequipped IT Laboratory was donated to St Joseph’s Junior Secondary School, Kandawala by Mrs Abeysekera.
The handover ceremony of ‘OKIan IT Piyasa’ was held with the participation of staff members of OKI International School, Wattala. St Joseph’s Junior Secondary School Principal praised the Directress and OKI team for this generous act. The idea for the IT Laboratory donation was initiated by Mrs Abeysekera. The project was successful due to the commitment, hard work and enthusiasm of the staff members.
