2500+ Young Artists Set to Transform Colombo into a Celebration of Creativity at 2026
Lyceum International School, Nugegoda to showcase the imagination, talent, and artistic excellence of over 2,500 young artists at the J.D.A. Perera Art Gallery, Colombo on 7th and 8th June 2026. The vibrant world of children’s creativity will take centre stage this June as Lyceum International School, Nugegoda proudly presents 2026, one of Sri Lanka’s largest schoolbased student art exhibitions.
Scheduled to be held on 7th and 8th June 2026 from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. at the prestigious J.D.A. Perera Art Gallery, Colombo, the exhibition will showcase the remarkable artistic talents of more than 2,500 budding young artists, representing students from Grade 1 to 12. Over the years, has evolved into a unique platform that nurtures creativity and selfexpression, encouraging young minds to share their thoughts, emotions, dreams, and perspectives through art. Following the overwhelming success of previous editions, this year’s exhibition promises an even more inspiring and immersive experience for art enthusiasts, parents, educators, and the wider community.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore an impressive collection of paintings, drawings, mixed-media creations, sculptures, and innovative visual art projects, each reflecting the imagination, originality, and artistic growth of Lyceum students. The Opening Ceremony will take place on 7th June 2026 at 9.00 a.m., bringing together distinguished artists, entrepreneurs, educators, parents, students, and art lovers to celebrate the achievements of Sri Lanka’s next generation of creative thinkers and artists.
