The Partnership between the Nawaloka College of Higher Studies and California State University Monterey Bay, California State University San Marcos, California State University Bakersfield and California State University Humboldt, enable Sri Lankan students to study at a Calstate university after completing the first two years in Sri Lanka. Students who join NCHS will directly enroll and be recognized as students of the selected Calstate university. They are given the option of choosing to do a degree of their choice on completion of the 2 years at NCHS.

The pathway programs are specially designed to prepare students for success in their further studies. Freshman Year Students who have completed their O/ Levels can apply for the Calstate Freshman Year at NCHS, and gain fast tracked entry to a bachelor degree in just 8 months. Students who complete the Calstate Freshman Year at NCHS, Sri Lanka, may progress directly to the 2nd year of a bachelor degree at Calstate. Sophomore Year Students who have completed their A/ Levels can apply for the Calstate Freshman/Sophomore Year with exemptions at NCHS, Sri Lanka On successful completion of the Sophomore year at NCHS, students may directly progress to the 3rd year of a bachelor degree at Calstate.
