21st Convocation of the College of Chemical Sciences, Institute of Chemistry Ceylon
The 21st Convocation of the College of Chemical Sciences (CCS), Institute of Chemistry Ceylon, was held on 23rd January 2026 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH). The ceremony marked an important milestone in the academic journey of the graduating students. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Senior Professor Pathmalal M. Manage and members of the Council of the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon, academic and administrative staff, parents, and well-wishers.
Graduates from the Graduateship in Chemistry (GIC) programme, BSc Hons (Chemical Science), and the Diploma in Laboratory Technology (DLT) received their degrees and diplomas. Prizes were also awarded to students who demonstrated outstanding academic performance. The ceremony concluded with valedictory speeches delivered by student representatives, expressing gratitude and reflecting on their academic experiences.
