Lyceum International School marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its 10th branch in Katunayake on the 6th of May. The opening ceremony of the Administrative Office was graced by esteemed guests including Dr. Kavinda Jayawardhana, Member of Parliament, Mr. Nilanka Imbuldeniya, Director General, Mrs. Kumari Wijeratne, Deputy Coordinating Principal, along with senior management, academic and non-academic staff. The newly established branch showcases a blend of innovation with its state-of-the-art facilities, encompassing modern classrooms, cutting-edge laboratories and an upcoming swimming pool.
Catering to the educational needs of young learners, the school offers comprehensive programmes from Daycare to preschool and Grade 1, solidifying Lyceum’s position as a trailblazer in International Education within Sri Lanka. During the event, Mr. Nilanka Imbuldeniya, paid tribute to the visionary founder, Dr. Mohanlal Grero, whose foresight 31 years ago laid the foundation for Lyceum’s success. Mr. Grero’s vision of providing accessible, high-quality International education to the Sri Lankan community has been the cornerstone of Lyceum’s journey to becoming a beacon of educational excellence.
