WORLD OF WISDOM IN CAREER COACHING, GUIDANCE AND INSPIRATION BY GURUJI MARUTHAI RAVINDHIRAN
Training is a noble Profession. Successful Corporate employee training and development yields a variety of benefits, including a more competitive workforce, better employee performance, and increased staff engagement and retention, to name a few. For a trainer, it gives the individual an opportunity to gain recognition, knowledge, skills, wisdom, fame, popularity, better income, status, class, identity and numerous benefits, including foreign tours, incentives, rewards, vehicles and other facilities, to enjoy work, career and blissful life. In my experience, providing training only to be competent in jobs is only the tip of the iceberg.
This includes training them on the hard skills and the Power skills. We need to dwell upon finding solutions toother hidden key factors as well, which would provide comprehensive solutions to improve productivity and profitability and development of the employees to reach their fullest potential. Everything depends on the hands of the trainers or managers. Hence, the organisations should also keep on training the trainers in order to find new dimensions to motivate, inspire, train and develop the trainees to reach the highest standards and higher echelons in their careers within their organisation.
In this socio-economic, political failures and crises, almost everyone from top to bottom of the organisation is stressed, anxious, depressed and demotivated. The trainer could make all the differences to reduce stress, anxiety, depression and motivate and inspire the trainees to perform better, which would lead to better profits and returns to the organisations, thereby providing relief to everyone from top to bottom of the organisation. Hence, it is a herculean task for a manager or trainer to bring them back to normalcyto keep them going. It is something like swimming against the tides, but competent trainers should have the abilities and capabilities to sail against the winds to reach ashore.
THE CARDINAL RULE:
As a cardinal rule in training, “understand the outcomes you are seeking and how you will evaluate whether they have been achieved before you design the training programme”. Furthermore, train your trainees consistently and f requently. Make them acquireknowledge and transferable skills from your teachings and experiences. As a result of your training, you should produce many multitalented performers who should become marvelous leaders from mediocre ones and miraculous ones from marvelous leaders, thus contributing immensely to their organisations, society and Motherland.
Employers should expect "effective and efficient" training plans and programmes from their trainers and managers, which is the need of the hour.
The trainer should also function as an advisor, a pedagogue, a leader, a motivator, a coach, a guide, a counsellor and a mentor and finding an expert trainer of this caliber will be a herculean task for employers or leaders. However, those who can express themselves well and possess“profound knowledge”,“firm grasp”,“experience”and “expertise” can be found easily from the Media and recommendations made by your friends in your business circle and industry.
When training your employees, along with the other parameters, you have to focus on the “right chemistry” and the “company culture”, which I see and name as “two pillars” for any organisational success, including the one in training.
Hence, I also wish to recommend you to start screening for the potential candidates as trainers, as it will be beneficial in the long run but you need to focus on looking after and treating them very well and protect them from your competitors, by inspiring the identified future trainers, which will definitely change the entire game for you and your organisation, now and in the time to come.
However, to identify your future trainers you may initially seek the professional services and support of the experienced external trainers.

ROLE OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINERS
As trainers, you should assist your employers to realise the Return on Investments (ROI) and Return on Training Investments(RoTI) as these have to be your supreme goal and objective.
CONCLUSION
Do not wait till the country's situation returns to normalcy. “You cannot stop the waves, but you can learn to swim or surf ”.
Hence, start small and you can benefit from the knowledge, skills, abilities, capabilities, talents, experience and expertise ofrenowned trainers, who can professionally assist you, your organisation and employees to navigate the challenges throughout the crisis period that you are faced with and transform your people to realise the vision of your organisation swiftly.
The power of transformation and the future of your company and its trainees are in your safe hands! Your cardinal duty is to “produce a galaxy of multi-talented trainees who could succeed you in the future”.
In my experience, I have found many versatile, dynamic, vibrant trainees who have become astute and resolute leaders, have brought glory and honour to their Alma Mater, and are a treasure trove for their organisations, society, Motherland and Universe. As a leader and trainer, transforming your trainees' lives should be your ultimate duty, goal, pleasure and privilege and it is the yardstick for your successful career as a trainer.
“Choose your career wisely”.
“Be a trainer par excellence”.
