NIBM partners with UNICEF

The National Institute of Business Management embarks on a new milestone as they establish a fruitful partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) on the 6th of July 2022 to provide large number of leadership opportunities for their students in diverse avenues of the development of children, organised in the esteemed presence of Mr. Christian Skoog - Country Representative UNICEF, Mr. Bismarck Swangin - Chief of Communication, Advocacy and Partnerships & Ms.Takaho Fukami - Chief of Education UNICEF along with Mr V.K. Choksy – Chairman NIBM, Dr. D.M.A. Kulasooriya - Director General NIBM, Mr. Kolitha Ranawaka - Director School of Business, Dr. Sameera Wijayasiri - Director School of Languages, Humanities and Design, Mrs. Sivanjali Yokarajah - Director Finance, Mr. Saman Rodrigo - Director, HR and Administration & Dr. Mrs. Buddhima Subasinghe - Head, Student Life and Engagement of NIBM.

UNICEF is an agency of the United Nations responsible for providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide. UNICEF’s activities include providing immunisations and disease prevention, administering treatment for children and mothers with HIV, enhancing childhood and maternal nutrition, improving sanitation, promoting education, and providing emergency relief in response to disasters catering to the development of billions of children worldwide. Currently we have close to 12,000 students studying online and blended programs from the different faculties. NIBM also works closely with the industry professionals focusing on developing a graduate who is a skilled professional in the industry with the prime aim of motivating our undergraduates to become skill drive, insight driven & tech driven, while encouraging them to become job creators rather than job seekers.
