Prized photograph: President graces Anula Vidyalaya event

The annual prize-giving of Anula Vidyalaya, Nugegoda was held this week with President Ranil Wickremesinghe as chief guest. Principal of the school Ms Vishaka Rajapaksha shares a photograph taken 16 years back in Beijing, China. In the picture is Mr. Wickremesinghe with the parents and a four month old child. The child is now in the G.C.E. O/L class. The President was able to meet with the parents and the student after the prize-giving. Pic by Indika Handuwala.
