Monday, 23rd of September 2024

Lyceum International School launched its 10th branch in Katunayake, commemorated by the release of a specially designed postage stamp. The commemorative stamp, launched in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Philatelic Bureau, stands as a tribute to the Katunayake branch. The stamp, featuring the new school’s facade, was revealed alongside a limited-edition commemorative envelope, both of which hold great value for collectors and advocates of Lyceum.

The grand opening was marked by several highlights, including the awarding of a prestigious scholarship to the first student enrolled at the Katunayake branch. In the presence of distinguished guests, Lyceum’s leadership re-affirmed the school’s dedication to nurturing young minds and equipping students with the skills needed to become global leaders. This milestone event not only celebrated the opening of the Katunayake branch but also underscored Lyceum’s three-decade journey as one of Sri Lanka’s premier educational institutions.

With a strong focus on holistic development, innovation and a future-ready curriculum, Lyceum International School continues to expand its mission of shaping tomorrow’s leaders through high-quality education, creativity and global thinking. The new branch offers Grade 1, Pre-Primary and Day Care services, and plans to expand to higher grade levels in the near future.
