Lyceum Nuwara Eliya Cultural Dancing Team Shines at SLHIKA 2024!

The Lyceum Nuwara Eliya Cultural Dancing Team captivated audiences at the “Sri Lanka Heritage International Kite Air Show (SLHIKA) 2024,” held at Gregory Lake, Nuwara Eliya, on the 17th and 18th of August. This grand event, organised by the Municipal Council, District Secretariat, and various government and private institutions in Nuwara Eliya, featured participation from the Tri-Forces, Sri Lanka Police, Ravana Aviation Kite Association, National Rupavahini, and the Tourist Hotel Association.

As colourful kites filled the Nuwara Eliya sky, Lyceum dancers added vibrant colour to the cultural show, standing out alongside other performers. The local community, as well as many international visitors from the Middle East, Belgium, the Netherlands, and other European countries, enjoyed a joyful experience. Lyceum’s performances contributed significantly to the festival, showcasing the richness of Sri Lankan heritage to an international audience and highlighting our leading cultural teams.
