Lyceum International School Kurunegala celebrates 7 years of excellence in education. The past 7 years have been a journey of trial and error that has led us to 2023, a memorable year marking Lyceum Kurunegala as the country’s largest and first carbon-neutral school.

Since our humble beginnings in 2016, we have come a long way to becoming a leading school in the area. Being present at the anniversary celebrations, the Director of Lyceum Group, Mr. Nikitha Grero, reminisced of his years at Lyceum and how he was the first ever student to study at Lyceum Nugegoda, where it all started.

Despite our short 7 years, Lyceum International School Kurunegala has stayed true to the ethos and values instilled by the parent school for the past 3 decades. We have always had an eco-friendly approach at the school with solar panels powering the school, school transport services to reduce carbon footprint and the newly opened carbon-neutral section.

The journey of Lyceum International School thus far has been possible due to the unwavering support of the Founder Dr. Mohan Lal Grero, the Coordinating Principal Dr. (Mrs) Kumari Grero, the Management, teachers and most of all the dedicated and beloved students and dear parents. Lyceum Kurunegala aims to continue this legacy of excellence in education and become a shining gem in the Kurunegala region.
