ECU Sri Lanka Achieves Remarkable Recognition in Recent Awards

Colombo, Sri Lanka – Edith Cowan University (ECU) Sri Lanka is celebrating a series of significant accolades that reflect its commitment to excellence in education and inclusivity. Over the past few months, the campus has garnered prestigious awards, reinforcing its position as a leader in the educational landscape. At the recent Moms Conference, organised by Parenthood Global, ECU Sri Lanka was honored with the award for Mom Inclusive Work Environment. The event featured Dr. Sajani, university Dean of ECU Sri Lanka, as a keynote speaker, whose inspiring address resonated with working mothers across the nation.

Her insights emphasised the importance of supportive workplace cultures, underscoring ECU’s dedication to fostering an inclusive environment for all its staff. In another triumph, ECU Sri Lanka has been awarded the Best Public Service Interior at the International Property Awards Asia Pacific 2024, achieving a prestigious five-star rating. This accolade is a testament to the innovative design work of architects Nilesh De Silva and Akbar Deen from KDS - Kahawita De Silva & Associates (Pvt) Ltd. Their exceptional vision was celebrated at the first anniversary of the ECU campus, where they presented the design concept to a gathering that included Deputy Vice Chancellor Professor Arshad Omari and Navitas UPA CEO Malcolm Baigent.

With this regional recognition, ECU Sri Lanka now advances to compete in the global International Property Awards, set to take place at The Strand in London later this year. Additionally, ECU Sri Lanka proudly announces its achievement of the Navitas INSPIRE Award for 2024. (Navitas is the largest global education provider) This award highlights the campus’s exceptional performance in recruitment, business growth, retention, and academic excellence. ECU Sri Lanka got shortlisted for this recognition, the award reflects the hard work and dedication of the entire ECU Sri Lanka team, setting new benchmarks in education and making a lasting impact on the community.
