Asian International School Students Awarded Scholarships by Prestigious Universities

Several students of Asian International School have yet again come out on top, securing generous funding and scholarships from prestigious foreign universities. Tashiyana Devarajan who was the Head Girl of 2023/2024 was an outstanding student of AIS who demonstrated exceptional leadership in both academic and extra-curricular activities. She has been awarded the prestigious Deakin Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship which is a 100% scholarship for undergraduate studies. She hopes to pursue a Bachelor of Business at Deakin University.

Manuthi Dias will be joining the Class of 2029 of New York University (NYU) Abu Dhabi on a 100% scholarship of tuition and generous support for books and living expenses. Manuthi, who studied STEM subjects at school, is most likely to pursue a degree in Chemistry or Engineering. Manuthi is a worthy recipient of this generous scholarship, having excelled in her academics at AIS. Abdullah Yusoof, who is one of the current Head Prefects of AIS, also gained admission to the Class of 2029 of NYU – Abu Dhabi on a 100% scholarship covering tuition and books.

His interest lies in the area of Political Science and Economics, having been an active Model United Nations (MUN) delegate. Abdullah, who is a highly accomplished all-around student, is sure to reap the benefits of the liberal arts education offered by NYU. Hrithick Aravinth has been admitted to the Tokyo International University (TIU) in Japan with a 100% tuition scholarship. Hrithick has also been active in MUN and will be majoring in International Relations at TIU. The success of these students in not only gaining admission to highly respected seats of higher learning but also securing prestigious scholarships is a testament to the all-around education and personality development they have received at AIS. They will add to the long list of outstanding products of the school who have excelled at world-renowned universities and brought credit to their alma mater as well as the country.
