The External Resources Department of the Finance Ministry has called for nominations for the online annual international training courses (AITC) awarded by Thailand. Thailand International Training Agency (TICA) has invited nominations from eligible government officials of Sri Lanka to participate in the online programme, consisting of 14 courses held from March to August. Some of the online courses offered are the Application of the sufficiency economy philosophy towards sustainable development implementation for all, Networking and capacity building of biomedical personnel in developing countries for facing emerging and reemerging infectious diseases, and Global social work and social welfare.

The courses have separate deadlines for registration from March 22 to July 19. The Department of External Resources had requested the ministries to circulate information among the Departments/Divisions/Institutes under their preview to submit nominations to the Department of External Resources with nomination letter, duly filled registration form (printout of the online application) and duly filled ERD form (downloadable at www.erd.gov.lk) Completed applications need to be submitted to ERD before 2 pm on or before the respective closing date with the line ministry covering letter and other relevant documents. -KW
