ANC Graduates Congratulated on a Job Well Done at the ANC Graduation and Awards Night 2018

ANC Education celebrated the achievements of approximately 400 graduating seniors, postgraduates, and diploma holders in addition to recognizing current students for their outstanding academic performance on their individual study programs at the Graduation and Awards Night held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) on 26th July 2018. Mr. Rajendra Theagarajah, Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Cargills Bank Limited was the esteemed chief guest of the event which was also graced by several distinguished guests, including Ms. Melissa Paulsen, the Cultural Affairs Officer of US Embassy of Sri Lanka, Dr. Mamiko Reeves -Asst .Vice President and Dean of International Programs at Northwood University, Dr. Suresh Gamlath- Dean of the Business School of University of West London and parents.

ANC Graduation and Awards Night honored the graduands who had completed the Master of Laws, Master of Science and Master of Business Administration from the University of West London and those graduating from Northwood University and the SUNY Empire State College of the USA.

Pasindu Ilangage graduating Summa Cum Laude with a BSc in Psychology from the State University of New York bagged the High Achievers Award, and Altaf Kaashif Zia graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University was felicitated for his best academic performance. Sachini Nishel Abeywickrama and Chathuranga Dilshan Saruwabandara were recognized as the Best Performing Students of the MBA and LLM programs respectively and felicitated by the University of West London. As far as ANC transfer students are concerned, they have been accepted by well-accredited US and Canadian universities, many with scholarships. State University of New York, Purdue University, York University, Ohio state University, Wichita State University, Northern Arizona University, and Montana State University are among the top universities to welcome ANC students this time.

It’s noteworthy that Rakitha Malewana has received a full tuition scholarship to continue his studies in the US.
