AOD presents ‘One Degree, Hundred Careers’ – a career taster program for visual thinkers

AOD invites after A/L students to ‘One Degree, Hundred Careers - an open house on visual communication design – the design degree giving access to the highest number of careers There is a number of degrees which would give you access to a few similar career paths which leads you to a competitive career market with a narrow scope and traditional job roles. However, there is an area of study that would give you access to more than just a handful of jobs, but a hundred careers.

This is what a Degree in Visual Communication Design delivers. These events are carried out by international design experts to give a direct experience of what it is like to study and work as a designer whether in Sri Lanka or abroad. ‘One Degree, Hundred Careers will be held on Saturday, October 21st at AOD, 29, Lauries Road, Colombo 4 between 10am to 1pm, with free entry. Therefore the career paths related to visual communication design has evolved past the traditional mould to make it a multidisciplinary role that challenges creative thinkers to interpret strategic content in visual form by integrating exciting mixes of new media and technologies from art to science.
